Northern Petroleum Plc will announce its final results for the year ended 31 December 2006 on 16 May 2007.

There will be a presentation for analysts at 0900 on 16 May at the offices of Investec Investment Banking and Securities, 2 Gresham Street, London, EC2V 7QP. Analysts who are unable to attend in person will also be able to participate via conference call from 0830 that morning, and should contact Fran Read at Bishopsgate Communications before 1800 on 15 May for dial in information. 

The results presentation will be made available on the Company’s website, www.northpet.com, shortly after commencement of the meeting.
