The Board of Northern Petroleum Plc received notification on 8 September from Credit Suisse Securities (Europe) Limited (“CSSEL”) that, as a result of the disposal of 2,478,654 ordinary shares during May, CSSEL currently has an interest in 2,503,654 ordinary shares of the Company. This represents approximately 3.59% of the issued ordinary share capital, totalling 69,799,079 ordinary shares, of the Company.

The above disposal should be noted alongside an announcement of 25 May concerning the notification by Deutsche Bank AG that it, and its subsidiary companies, had a notifiable interest in 2,615,654 ordinary shares of the Company.
