Northern Petroleum announces that, following the exercise of warrants to subscribe for ordinary shares, it has made an application pursuant to the authority granted on 23 July 2004 for the admission of 800,000 Ordinary Shares to trading on AIM.

It is expected that dealings in the said shares will commence on 27th June 2005.
